Questions
Is my page stored on your server?
No. Our server loads the page, builds the file and sends it straight to your browser. We do not keep a copy of the page or the file.
Why does the saved page look a little different?
Some websites draw parts of the page with scripts after it loads, such as menus, comments or image galleries. The file keeps the page as it is delivered, without running scripts.
Can I save a page that needs a login?
No. The tool only sees public pages, the same way a visitor who is not signed in sees them.
Do links still work in the file?
Yes. Links point to the original website, so they open online when you click them.
Is there a size limit?
The page itself can be up to 6 MB and all images and fonts together up to about 28 MB. Very large pictures may be left as links.
Can I turn the page into a PDF?
Yes. After saving, choose Make a PDF to open the page in our HTML to PDF tool.
